The brief
Design a website for a New York longevity clinic: preventive diagnostics and longevity programmes at the core, aesthetics one quiet line inside it. It had to read as precise and calm rather than clinical and cold, carry no faces and no outcome claims, and convince the one visitor who works in the sector that the craft is real.
The concept
The page is an optical instrument coming into focus. It opens on a glass assembly in near-white space, with light entering scattered and unfocused across the page ground. Scrolling draws the elements into alignment: the wash narrows, gains an edge, and lands as one clean green band, the page's single resolved moment. That band then becomes data furniture, the diagnostic readout resolving out of the same light rather than pasted over it. Below the instrument the clinic lays out three treatment families, a four-step consultation, sober membership tiers and a plain account of who reads your results. The instrument holds a quiet state throughout and never competes with the words.

What Hammer & Pixel built
- The Resolve: a parametric optical bench authored in Blender and rendered in Cycles, 96 frames scrubbed on native scroll so the instrument focuses as you read, with a 64-frame set for phones
- The reading: the figures are born inside the resolved band and travel out as tabular data, so the numbers are made of the same light
- The consultation: a four-step flow that blocks an empty step with a live message, keeps every answer editable in place, and ends in a labelled preview of the confirmation
- Who reads your results: a plain trust section in operational language, no invented clinicians, no credentials, no faces
- The imagery: six generated interiors and material studies held to one clinic-light palette, each labelled as visualisation rather than a photograph
