Should the site say how we are paid?
We think so. A plain page says whether your fee is built into the rates or charged separately, and at what point you tell a client what it comes to. Many owners ask on the first call, and a few clear lines do more for enquiries than any headline.
Most of our clients come from our own calls and referrals. Why does the site matter?
Because the owner checks you before they sign a letter of authority or a contract. After your call, or a friend's recommendation, they search your name and open the site. If it is a coming soon page or says nothing about how you work, the conversation goes cold.
We work with particular business types. Can the site show that?
Yes. A page for each type of business you know well, such as pubs and restaurants, farms, care homes or manufacturers, written in the terms that business uses, from kitchen equipment to night shifts. An owner who finds their own kind of business there can see you have done it before.
Can it cover the areas we work in?
Yes. A page for each town or region you cover, with the kinds of business you look after there and how to reach you. If you work nationally by phone, the site can say so while still turning up when an owner searches for an energy broker and a town.
Is there anything to pay each month?
No. There is no deposit and nothing monthly at the sale. Once the site is live we offer an optional care plan for page updates, new photos and extra area pages, and you can say no to it.
Do we have to pay before we see it?
No. We build the demo first and send you the link. You see your site live before you pay a penny. If you do not want it, you owe us nothing and the area goes to the next firm.
What happens to our current domain and email?
The domain stays in your name and we point it at the new site. Your email carries on working. If you have no domain we help you buy one, in your name.
