Mark runs Hemsley Building Services in Wakefield, laying block paving, natural stone and tarmac. The work photographs well and there was a lot of it, but none of it was working for him online, and there was no simple route from a stranger seeing a driveway to that stranger asking for a price.
So the job was not a brochure. It was a gallery deep enough to answer "can you do something like mine", an area page for each town he actually travels to, and a quote flow short enough to finish on a phone at the kerbside.
What we built
One site, built around his photographs.
- A 119 photo gallery in five tabs, so a visitor can go straight to driveways, patios or walling instead of scrolling past the rest.
- A page for every area he works, written for the town rather than swapping a place name into one template.
- A quote form tested end to end on the live domain, with the delivery proven into his own inbox rather than assumed.
- His Google Business Profile brought up to the same standard: 91 of his photos, six areas and every service described.
- Monitoring we watch for him, so a fault surfaces here before it costs him an enquiry.
- The site still in our hands. We keep building on it, and the performance round after launch is worked and proven before it goes near the live domain.
