The free listing most landscapers leave half empty.

Landscaping is chosen on before and after photographs, and the profile is where a lot of people look first. We fill it in properly alongside the site.

It does, because landscaping is chosen on before and after photographs and the map is where a lot of people look first. Photo count does obvious work here, since the customer is comparing finished gardens rather than reading. We keep the categories tight so grass cutting enquiries stay off your phone. Filled in alongside the build, free live demo first.

Google Business Profile setup

Why the map pack decides a landscaping job

Search for a landscaper near you and Google puts a map with three listings above everything else. Most landscapers sit in it with a logo, a number and four photographs of one job.

This is a trade where the photo count does obvious work, because the customer is comparing finished gardens. A full profile beats a half empty one before anybody has read a word.

01

Photos, plenty of them

Before and after pairs of the same garden, the materials close up, the van, the team. We loaded 91 photos onto Mark’s profile at Hemsley Building Services.

02

Every service described

Not one line saying gardener. Patios, turfing, design, decking and sleeper walls each named and written out, and grass cutting left off if you do not want it.

03

The areas you cover

Every village in the radius, set properly, so you appear across the patch rather than only where you live.

What we set up alongside the landscaping site

We do the profile in the same week as the site, with the same photographs, service names and areas. A profile showing one standard of garden and a site showing another gives a buyer a reason to hesitate.

On the profile, during the build

Claimed if it is not yours yet, cleaned up if it is.

  • Name, address, phone and hours checked against the site
  • Every landscaping service written out, not one catch-all category
  • Service areas set to every village and town you want work in
  • Before and after pairs loaded and named, from the same set the site uses
  • The three or four shots to take on your next job, if the set is thin
  • The first posts written, and shown to you so you can keep going
  • Review link put where a customer will tap it when the garden is handed back

The Bristol fencing build

We have not filled in a landscaping profile we can show you, so this is the nearest. Mark runs a building firm in Wakefield. His profile was thin. Same photo set, same service names and same areas as the site now.

  • 91 photos on the profile
  • Six service areas set properly
  • Every service described, not one category
  • The same photo set and wording as the site, so the two match

What landscapers ask about the profile

Can the profile keep the grass cutting enquiries away?

Largely. If a service is not listed, you are far less likely to appear for it. We list what you want more of and leave off what you do not.

I already have a profile. Can you fix it rather than start again?

We keep the one you have. A landscaper's reviews take seasons to collect and they live on that listing. We claim it back if you cannot get into it.

Do I need an office address?

No. A landscaper has nowhere for a customer to visit, so we set the towns you work in and leave your address off the listing entirely.

Can you get me reviews?

We make asking easy and remind you when to do it. We will not produce them. Every review comes from a customer you worked for, and they write it themselves.

We build the landscaping site and set the profile up alongside it, then send you the link.

  • Free live demo. We build it first and put it on a real web address. You open it before any money changes hands.
  • Keep your domain. Your web address stays yours. If you need one we buy it in your name.
  • Live in 7 days. Seven days from sign-off. Photos, copy, forms, the lot.
  • Nothing monthly at the sale. One fixed price for the build, published on our pricing page. The care plan is a separate talk later.

The service, and the whole site

This page is one job on one trade. The two below are the wider picture: the service on its own, and the full site we build for landscapers.
