Web design for decorators, written in code.

Decorating is bought on the edges and the corners, because that is what somebody stares at for the next ten years. The site has to show them, and load while it does.

Decorating is bought on the edges and the corners, because that is what somebody stares at for the next ten years. So the site shows cut in lines close up, the prep before the paint and a tidy site, not only finished walls. It also carries the commercial decorating page almost nobody builds, which is the quietest and best paid search.

Web design for tradesmen

What a decorating site has to do that a general one does not

“House painters” and “painters and decorators near me” bring the one room jobs. “Exterior painting” and “commercial decorators” bring the weeks, and the commercial search is the quietest and best paid of the four because almost nobody builds a page for it.

Then there is the proof. Cut in lines close up, the prep before the paint, dust sheets and a tidy site. A gallery of finished walls without any prep in it looks like every other decorating site in the town.

01

A page per job, not a list

Interior, exterior, commercial and wallpapering each get a page in the words a customer types. The search and the page match.

02

The commercial page nobody builds

Out of hours working, public liability cover, how many of you there are and how fast a unit turns round. That page wins work from a search almost no one is competing for.

03

Prep on show, alongside the finishes

Cut in lines, filled walls, sheets down and a tidy site. We crop and compress your own photos so the gallery still opens quickly.

What we build for a decorating firm

Seven days from sign-off, and nothing on the list is charged as an extra. We start from the jobs you want more of rather than a template.

In a decorating build

The list we work to when the trade is painting and decorating.

  • A page each for interiors, exteriors, commercial work and wallpapering
  • A page for every town you work in
  • The quote tool set to job type, room count, occupied or empty and a deadline
  • A gallery that shows prep and edges, not only finished walls
  • Your insurance and the brands you use, stated where a buyer looks
  • A separate route for a landlord, a letting agent or a pub
  • Schema, sitemap and the technical work Google expects
  • Tested on a real phone before you ever see the link

Live now

Hemsley Building Services, Wakefield

Our first client build, live since August 2026 and paying. It is a building firm rather than a decorating one, so the trades on it differ, but it is a real site we made and host and the shape is the one you would get.

  • A 119 photo gallery in five tabs
  • A page for every area the firm covers
  • The form tested end to end before it went live
  • Hand written code with no page builder in front of it

What decorators ask us about the build

Most of my work comes from builders and word of mouth. Why bother?

Because the builder work stops when the builder is quiet, and it is the only pipeline you do not control. A site gives you a second one, and the searches it catches are the bigger jobs anyway.

My photos are all on my phone and half are rubbish. Is that a problem?

No. We sort through what you have, pick the ones that show prep and edges rather than a flat wall, and tell you the three or four shots to take on your next job.

We do a lot of commercial. Can the site speak to a landlord or a pub?

Yes, on its own page. Out of hours working, cover, crew size and turnaround, written for a buyer who is losing money while the unit is shut.

Will a big gallery slow it down?

No. Photographs are cropped, compressed and sized before they go on, so a big gallery costs a phone very little. Our own homepage scored 99 out of 100 on Google's mobile speed test on 15 September 2026.

We build the decorating site first, then send you the link. No deposit, no contract to read.

  • Free live demo. We build it first and put it on a real web address. You open it before any money changes hands.
  • Keep your domain. Your web address stays yours. If you need one we buy it in your name.
  • Live in 7 days. Seven days from sign-off. Photos, copy, forms, the lot.
  • Nothing monthly at the sale. One fixed price for the build, published on our pricing page. The care plan is a separate talk later.

The service, and the whole site

This page is one job on one trade. The two below are the wider picture: the service on its own, and the full site we build for painters and decorators.
