Nine cleaning sites, nine UK cities

Nine end of tenancy cleaning sites in nine UK cities, all built, owned and answered by us. The Manchester site reached page one of Google for local searches, Canary Wharf took its first paid booking on day 18, Reading was built and launched in one day, and five cities launched on 1 September 2026. Ask for a free live demo before you pay.

We did not build these for a client. We built them for ourselves, we own them, and we answer the phone when they ring. Nine cities, all live, all open in a browser right now.

Back to the case studies

The brief

Prove the model on our own money first.

End of tenancy cleaning is a hard market to win: the searches are local, the buyer is moving house next week, and every competitor promises the same thing. We wanted to know whether the way we build actually brings work in, so we tested it on a business of our own rather than on somebody else's.

The rule was one city at a time, each site earning its own identity, its own photography and its own local research. What worked in Manchester had to be proven again in Glasgow before we believed it.

What we built

Nine sites, and the machinery behind them.

  • A separate site for each city, with its own name, colours, photographs and area pages. Nothing is a recoloured copy of the last one.
  • Local research on every area page, down to census housing figures for the wards each page covers, England and Scotland handled on their own data.
  • A quote tool on every site, with delivery proven by a real test enquiry landing in a real inbox before we called a site live.
  • A local phone number on eight of the nine sites, routed through a call flow that screens the caller, texts back on a missed call and records accepted calls.
  • Security headers enforcing on all nine, on one identical policy, checked by a crawler that visits every page.
  • Search Console on all nine, so indexing is read from the record rather than guessed at.

What it taught us

Owning them changed how we build them.

When the phone is yours, you find out quickly which parts of a website earn their place. The quote tool earns it. The photographs earn it. A clever animation over the hero does not, if it makes the page judder on the phone the customer is holding.

It also set the standard we now hold client work to: a site is not live because it looks finished, it is live because a real enquiry has been sent through it and arrived. Every site we build now has to pass that test.

We will build yours the same way.
