The quote tool, built for tree surgery.

Removal, crown work, hedges or stumps, how urgent, and a photo of the whole tree. You price the climb before you leave the yard.

Removal, crown work, hedges or stumps, how urgent it is, whether there is access for the kit, and a photo of the whole tree in one shot. You price the climb before you leave the yard, and a hedge trim stops arriving dressed as a dismantle. Tree surgery was the fourth version we shipped, so this one is real.

The quote tool

The five it asks, word for word

Tree surgery was the fourth version we shipped, and it is the one further down this page. Nothing is sent from here. Everything else is what your customer would meet.

Five screens, in the order a customer with a leaning ash meets them.

The tree surgery version, step by step

Four screens of buttons, then a postcode, then a name and a number.

  • One, what needs doing: tree removal, crown work, hedge work, or stump grinding
  • Two, how urgent: it is dangerous, this week, this month, or just a quote
  • Three, the property and the postcode, which is where access for the kit is worked out
  • Four, photos, optional: the whole tree and what stands under it
  • Five, name and phone, then a recap with a reference number

How it tells a hedge trim from a dismantle

A hedge cut back is a morning with a pair of shears. A dismantle over a conservatory roof is a day, a chipper and a groundsman. The answers separate them before you get in the van.

01

Access for the kit

Rear garden with a narrow ginnel or a drive you can back the chipper onto. It changes the price, so it gets asked early.

02

Dangerous first

Split, leaning or already down is the same hour job. Everything else keeps its place in the week and stops interrupting it.

03

The whole tree in one shot

One photo tells you the height, the species, the lean and what is under it. Three paragraphs of description tell you almost nothing.

Where the lead actually turns up

WhatsApp within seconds, email behind it as the record. You are up a tree or behind a chipper most of the day, so the lead goes to the phone and waits quietly until you are down.

It arrives with the work, the urgency, the access, the postcode, the photos, the name and the number. Enough to price a fair few jobs without a site visit, and enough to know which ones need one.

Protected trees and conservation areas are the other half of it. Where a firm does a lot of that work we add a step, so the ones that need a council application arrive marked rather than found out on the day.

This is the quote tool we put on your site

This is the tree surgery version, exactly as it ships. Nothing is sent from this page. Run it as a customer with a leaning tree would.

What's the problem?

Tap the closest match.

How urgent is it?

An honest answer helps with scheduling. Same day on emergencies.

What kind of property?

Helps us work out the likely drain layout.

Please enter a valid UK postcode.

Got photos of the drain?

Optional. A shot of the standing water or the open chamber tells the engineer a lot.

Where do we send the quote?

In a real build this lands in the engineer's inbox.

Sorted.

The engineer will reply within one working day. That is what your customer would see.

The St Albans tree surgery build

A tree surgery site we built and host. Open it, pick a dismantle rather than a fell, and see what lands at the other end.

  • A page per job: removal, crown work, hedges, stumps
  • The quote tool, with photo upload, on every page
  • A page for protected trees and conservation areas

Four things tree surgeons ask about the tool

Can it ask about TPOs and conservation areas?

Yes, and we would. It is the question householders ask first, and a firm that answers it on the site wins jobs from the ones that do not mention it at all.

How do I price from a photo?

You price roughly, then confirm on site for the big ones. Most surgeons we build for quote the hedges and the stumps from the pictures and visit the dismantles.

Can it show my qualifications and insurance?

They sit on the page around the tool and in the reply the customer receives, which is exactly where the nervous ones look before they tap send.

What about firewood and logs?

We add it where it is worth your time. If it is not, leaving it off the buttons is the fastest way to stop being asked.

We build the site with the tree surgery tool wired to your inbox, send a test lead, then send you the link.

  • Free live demo. We build it first and put it on a real web address. You open it before any money changes hands.
  • Keep your domain. Your web address stays yours. If you need one we buy it in your name.
  • Live in 7 days. Seven days from sign-off. Photos, copy, forms, the lot.
  • Nothing monthly at the sale. One fixed price for the build, published on our pricing page. The care plan is a separate talk later.

Our own homepage scored 99 out of 100 on Google’s mobile speed test on 15 September 2026. Run the test yourself.

Where this sits in the build

We do not sell this on its own. It is one part of a site built for one trade in one area, with a page for every job and every town you cover.

Or read everything that is in the build.
