Websites for cleaning companies in Coventry that speak to city wide HMOs.

Coventry City Council's additional licensing designation covers the whole city until 3 May 2030, and Census 2021 records 22.5 per cent of Coventry households renting from a private landlord or letting agency.

We build a page per job, a landlord page, area pages for the parts of the city you cover, and a quote tool that sizes the work before it reaches your phone. Coventry City Council states that its extended additional licensing designation came into effect across the city on 4 May 2025 and ceases on 3 May 2030. The houses in Coventry

The published Valuation Office stock table CTSOP4.1, stock at 31 March 2025, records 154,060 properties in Coventry. That is the published local authority row, covering the whole metropolitan district and not the ring road alone. 12.9 per cent of the stock was built before 1919, 39.5 per cent before 1940 and 30.3 per cent between 1945 and 1972.

Census 2021 table TS054 records 22.5 per cent of Coventry households renting from a private landlord or letting agency, with a further 2.3 per cent in other private renting. Table TS044 records 39.9 per cent of households in terraced houses, 30.1 per cent semi detached and 17.4 per cent in flats, including 15.7 per cent of all households in purpose built flats. Both are whole authority figures. Terraced housing is the largest single accommodation type recorded for the district.

Coventry has no district cards on this page. The council's additional licensing designation is city wide rather than area based, and no council page naming neighbourhoods for licensing or for an Article 4 direction was found on 17 September 2026. The areas named on the site would be the ones you actually travel to.

We would build the site around the jobs instead: an end of tenancy page carrying your checklist, a deep clean page, a commercial page and an office page, and an area page for every part of the city your crew actually reaches. Each one would carry a job you have finished there.

The rules that change a cleaning job in Coventry

Coventry City Council states that an HMO "requires a Mandatory Licence where it is occupied by five or more people forming more than one household" and that the council has discretionary powers to require other HMOs to hold a licence. On additional licensing it states that a designation has been in effect across the city since 4 May 2020, that "The Additional Licensing Designation was extended on 7 October 2024 and has come into effect across the city on 4 May 2025", and that the designation "will cease to have effect on 3 May 2030 or earlier if the Council revokes the scheme".

The council states that the scheme applies to "Any HMO which is occupied by 3 or 4 occupiers irrespective of the number of storeys" and to any section 257 HMO that is mainly or wholly tenanted, with the exceptions its page sets out. On selective licensing the council states that following its 2019 consultation a report recommended that "Selective Licensing is not progressed at this time" and that this was approved.

Deposit protection comes from GOV.UK rather than from the council. Where a home is rented on an assured periodic tenancy the deposit belongs in a government approved protection scheme, and assured periodic tenancies replaced assured shorthold tenancies on 1 May 2026. GOV.UK states that the landlord or the letting agent must put the deposit in the scheme within 30 days of getting it, and names the Deposit Protection Service, MyDeposits and the Tenancy Deposit Scheme as the three schemes available in England and Wales. It adds that the agreed amount goes back within 10 days of both sides settling on it, and that a disputed deposit stays with the scheme until the argument is resolved.

We would link landlords and agents to the council's own licensing pages and the occupancy the designation describes. Your page would set out the communal areas included, the room by room checklist, the access arrangements, completion photographs and your return visit policy.

Who you are up against in Coventry

We counted the Google Maps results for cleaning companies in Coventry on 17 September 2026. The sample was 40 listings. Seventeen carried a Coventry postal address and fourteen of those had a website, with three having none. One of the seventeen gives a CV7 postcode, inside the postal district but outside the council area. Four rows gave no address at all, two of them branch pages of national brands, and nineteen sat elsewhere in the Midlands.

A separate Maps pull for letting agents in Coventry on the same day returned 40 listings, which is the cap we set on it. Twenty six carried a Coventry address, twenty five of them estate agent, letting agent or property management listings and one an apartment building. Those twenty six sit inside a capped sample of 40 and are not a count of the agents working in the city.

Those are two dated samples of two searches. What we would do with them is give Earlsdon, Foleshill, Tile Hill, Stoke and the city centre a page each, and carry one landlord page that sets out the city wide scheme in plain words.

Where a cleaning company in Coventry gets to when they invest

Three Coventry firms appeared in the first ten Google local listings we checked for "cleaning companies in Coventry", with sites worth opening. One of the three carries a before and after section and a portfolio of completed projects filtered by deep cleaning, house, kitchen and Airbnb work.

  • Fitz2Kleen Specialist Cleaners

Built on WordPress. It carries reviews on the page. It has no page per area. Quotes come through a form, and the phone number sits in the header.

The header carries the phone number and email, a quick quote form sits on the home page, Google reviews are embedded through a review widget and each specialist service has its own page, including trauma and bio hazard and hoarder clean up.

  • TRUCARE CLEANING LTD

It carries photographs of its own jobs and reviews on the page. It has no page per area. Quotes come through WhatsApp, and the phone number sits in the header.

It carries a before and after section, a portfolio of completed projects filtered by deep cleaning, house, kitchen and Airbnb, and telephone contact links.

  • Clean2Clean Ltd

Built on Wix. It carries a page per area and reviews on the page. Quotes come through WhatsApp, and the phone number sits in the header.

The navigation carries a page per service per city, including Coventry end of tenancy cleaning and domestic cleaning Coventry, plus a team page, an FAQ and a blog.

All three keep the phone number in the header, all three carry reviews on the page, and one runs a page per area. Each one opened and checked 17 September 2026.

Cleaning companies in Coventry ask us

  • Does the city wide HMO licensing belong on my site?

A short paragraph can carry it. Coventry City Council states that an additional licensing designation has been in effect across the city since 4 May 2020, that the extended scheme came into effect on 4 May 2025 and ceases on 3 May 2030, and that it covers any HMO occupied by three or four people whatever the number of storeys. A landlord page can say what your clean covers.

  • Which Coventry phrases have a recorded volume?

OpenSEO recorded 720 monthly searches for carpet cleaning Coventry, 390 each for cleaning companies in Coventry and cleaning services Coventry, 320 for oven cleaning Coventry, 110 each for commercial cleaning Coventry and end of tenancy cleaning Coventry, 70 for office cleaning Coventry and 30 for deep cleaning Coventry. Those are recorded phrase volumes.

  • How busy is the Coventry map pack?

The Maps pull on 17 September 2026 returned 40 listings. Seventeen carried a Coventry postal address and fourteen of those had a website. Four gave no address and nineteen sat elsewhere in the Midlands. That is a dated sample from one pull, not a complete measure of the firms trading in the city.
