Websites for plasterers in Bromsgrove that say Bromsgrove in the title.

Bromsgrove town is 31.7 per cent post war housing, 22.7 per cent built since 2000, and a conservation area the council records as timber frame, wattle and daub and painted stucco.

Two of the thirteen plasterers Google returned for Bromsgrove on 16 September 2026 carry a Bromsgrove address, and the rest reach in from Redditch, Halesowen and Birmingham. The houses in Bromsgrove

Our own totals of the Valuation Office table CTSOP4.1, stock at 31 March 2025, cover 13,150 dwellings across the four census areas named for Bromsgrove town. 31.7 per cent of them were built between 1945 and 1972, 26.8 per cent between 1973 and 1999 and 22.7 per cent in 2000 or later. 9.8 per cent predate 1919, against 11.5 per cent across Bromsgrove district.

Census 2021 table TS044 records 38.1 per cent of Bromsgrove district households in detached houses, 36.1 per cent in semis, 14.2 per cent terraced and 8.8 per cent in purpose built flats. Jobs here tend to be whole rooms in whole houses.

The everyday work is plasterboard and skim, with dry lining on the newer edges. The older stock is concentrated in the town centre conservation area, where the council's appraisal records sixteenth century timber framed buildings with wattle and daub, painted brick, and white stucco and render in a few cases. That is a different trade again, and it earns one page rather than the homepage.

Charford

43.7 per cent built 1945 to 1972 and 23.2 per cent 1973 to 1999, with 8.7 per cent pre 1919 (Valuation Office stock tables, 2025).

Post war estate housing. Ceilings overboarded and skimmed, walls skimmed over between tenants, patching after rewires. Room at a time work.

Catshill

39.4 per cent built 1945 to 1972 and 25.8 per cent 1973 to 1999, with 6.4 per cent pre 1919 (Valuation Office stock tables, 2025). Counted as its own area rather than part of the town total.

The same estate skim work as Charford, plus render repairs on the pebble dashed post war semis along the Birmingham Road side.

Sidemoor

13.0 per cent pre 1919 and 21.4 per cent inter war (Valuation Office stock tables, 2025).

Older terraces and inter war semis where the plaster comes off before it goes on. Full replaster, lath and plaster ceilings down, lime where the wall needs to breathe, and damp related re plaster at the bottom of solid walls.

Bromsgrove Central and Sanders Park

42.2 per cent built 1973 to 1999 and 19.7 per cent since 2000 (Valuation Office stock tables, 2025). The Bromsgrove Town conservation area, designated in 1968, sits inside it.

Two customers on one page. Dot and dab and over skim on the later housing, and matching work on the conservation area frontages the council records as timber frame, wattle and daub, and painted stucco and render.

Stoney Hill

31.3 per cent built in 2000 or later (Valuation Office stock tables, 2025).

New build dry lining, taping and jointing, and the crack and joint repairs that follow two or three years later. Often through builders rather than homeowners.

The rules that change a plastering job in Bromsgrove

Bromsgrove District Council lists 12 conservation areas: Alvechurch, Barnt Green, Belbroughton, Beoley, Bromsgrove Town Centre, Clent, Dodford, Hagley, Hewell Grange, Holy Cross, St John's and the Worcester and Birmingham Canal. Two cover the town itself, Bromsgrove Town Centre and St John's.

The Bromsgrove Town conservation area was designated by Worcestershire County Council in 1968 and extended in 1983 and 1989. Its character appraisal records buildings from the sixteenth century onwards, timber framed with wattle and daub and brick infill panels, notes that some brick buildings have been painted, and records white stucco and render in a few cases. The council publishes no separate lime or breathable finish guidance.

We would explain how you check the conservation boundary, any Article 4 direction and the proposed work before confirming whether permission is needed. That answers it on the render page instead of on site.

Who you are up against in Bromsgrove

The Google Maps pull for plasterers in Bromsgrove on 16 September 2026 returned thirteen places: eight had a website and five had none. Two of the thirteen are the same firm listed twice, two carry a Bromsgrove address, and the rest reach in from Redditch, Halesowen and Birmingham. The pull also caught a building supplies branch and a trowel wholesaler.

The map pack read on the same day went twelve deep and four of those had no website. It is one dated sample of two searches. What we would do with it is give Charford, Catshill, Sidemoor, the town centre and Stoney Hill a page each, carrying the jobs you have finished in them.

Where a plasterer in Bromsgrove gets to when they invest

Three Bromsgrove firms whose websites we opened and checked. This is the bar a plastering firm here reaches once it puts money into the site.

  • Bromsgrove Plastering (Mark Spence Plastering)

Built on Wix. It carries photographs of its own jobs and reviews on the page. It has no page per area. Quotes come through a form, and the phone number sits in the header.

It trades under the town name on its Google listing while the site is the owner's own name, and it keeps projects and testimonials as separate sections rather than one scrolling page.

  • Charldan Plastering

A custom site built by an agency. It carries photographs of its own jobs and reviews on the page. It has no page per area. Quotes come by phone, and the phone number sits in the header.

Redditch based and covering Bromsgrove, it names its five jobs as headings, boarding, skimming, over skimming and the rest, so a customer can see which one they are buying before they ring.

  • Premier Plastering Contracts

Built on WordPress. It carries photographs of its own jobs and reviews on the page. It has no page per area. Quotes come through a form, and the phone number sits in the header.

The opening paragraph lists Kidderminster, Bromsgrove, Hagley, Halesowen and Stourbridge by name, so the coverage area is stated rather than implied.

All three keep the phone number in the header, all three carry reviews on the page, and none run a page per area. Each one opened and checked 16 September 2026.

The Bromsgrove searches worth their own page

  • "plasterers in Bromsgrove"

90 searches a month (OpenSEO keyword data, September 2026)

The town page. It names Charford, Catshill, Sidemoor, the town centre and Stoney Hill, and shows a finished room in each.

  • "plasterer Bromsgrove"

90 searches a month (OpenSEO keyword data, September 2026)

The singular runs alongside the plural on the same page, with the town in the title and the first heading.

  • "dry lining Bromsgrove"

no recorded monthly volume (OpenSEO keyword data, September 2026)

22.7 per cent of the town was built since 2000 and Stoney Hill 31.3 per cent. Taping, jointing and over skim get their own page, often for a builder rather than a homeowner.

  • "skim over ceilings Bromsgrove"

no recorded monthly volume (OpenSEO keyword data, September 2026)

31.7 per cent of the town dates from 1945 to 1972. The ceiling page is written for Charford and Catshill, with the light across a finished ceiling.

  • "plasterer Catshill"

no recorded monthly volume (OpenSEO keyword data, September 2026)

Catshill is 39.4 per cent and Charford 43.7 per cent built 1945 to 1972. Named estates pull work the bare town name does not, and Charford gets a page on the same pattern.

  • "rendering Bromsgrove"

no recorded monthly volume (OpenSEO keyword data, September 2026)

The tool returned a row with no volume on it. Render is a whole house price, and the page carries the conservation area stucco record and the conservation and Article 4 check.

Four of the eleven listings in the local search read for "plasterers in Bromsgrove" have no website of their own and one points at a Facebook page (OpenSEO local search results, read 16 September 2026).

What we would build for a Bromsgrove plasterer

  • A home page naming Charford, Catshill, Sidemoor, the town centre and Stoney Hill.
  • A skim over page for the post war estates, priced by the room.
  • An artex ceiling removal page with a before shot and the finished ceiling.
  • A full replaster page for Sidemoor and the older terraces, covering lath ceilings, the backing coat and lime where the wall wants it.
  • A dry lining page for Stoney Hill and the new build, taping, jointing and snagging.
  • A rendering page quoting the town centre appraisal on painted brick, white stucco and render.
  • Area pages for Charford, Catshill, Sidemoor, the town centre and Stoney Hill.
  • A quote tool that asks how many walls, ceiling or walls only, skim over or full replaster, and takes a photograph.

What every plastering site needs, whatever the town, is on our plasterers page.

Plasterers in Bromsgrove ask us

  • Two of the firms Google shows for Bromsgrove are actually in Bromsgrove. Does that help me?

It is the opening. Of the thirteen listings the pull returned on 16 September 2026, two carry a Bromsgrove address, two are the same business listed twice, and the rest are Redditch, Halesowen and Birmingham firms reaching in. A site that says Bromsgrove in the title, names Charford, Sidemoor and Catshill, and shows local jobs has a clear run.

  • Is there enough old property here for lime and heritage work?

Less than the market town frontage suggests. 9.8 per cent of the town predates 1919, against 11.5 per cent across the district (Valuation Office stock tables, 31 March 2025). The heritage work is concentrated in the town centre conservation area, designated in 1968, where the appraisal records timber frame with wattle and daub and some stucco and render. Keep it to one page.

  • Should new build work get its own page?

22.7 per cent of Bromsgrove homes went up in 2000 or later and in Stoney Hill it is 31.3 per cent (Valuation Office stock tables, 31 March 2025). Dot and dab, taping and jointing and over skim are a different price and often a builder rather than a homeowner. That page would not sit well inside one about hacking walls off.
