Franche
66.8 per cent built 1945 to 1972 (Valuation Office stock tables, 2025).
Estate skim over. Plasterboard ceilings artexed later, walls in browning and finish, and patch repairs around rewires. Priced by the room, won on speed of reply.
Four of Wyre Forest's 17 conservation areas are in Kidderminster, and the council records Blakebrook's villas as white washed stucco or red brick.
Of the fifteen Kidderminster plasterers Google returned on 16 September 2026, eight had no website at all. We build a skim over page for the post war estates, a full replaster page for Foley Park at 31.5 per cent pre 1919, a dry lining page for Spennells, and an area page for each. Free live demo, keep your domain, live in 7 days.
Our own totals of the Valuation Office table CTSOP4.1, stock at 31 March 2025, cover 26,850 dwellings across the eight census areas that make up Kidderminster. 34.7 per cent of them were built between 1945 and 1972 and 21.9 per cent between 1973 and 1999. 14.7 per cent predate 1919, against 15.4 per cent across Wyre Forest district, and 14.2 per cent were built in 2000 or later.
Foley Park is 31.5 per cent pre 1919. Spennells and Hoobrook is 85.6 per cent built 1973 to 1999. Census 2021 table TS044 records 29.5 per cent of Wyre Forest households in detached houses, 37.2 per cent in semis and 18.4 per cent terraced. The work here is whole rooms in whole houses more often than flats.
Skim over walls and ceiling work on plasterboard and browning is the everyday job across the post war half. The carpet workers' terraces at Foley Park are the other half: hack off, re coat, full replaster, lath and plaster ceilings down and lime where the wall needs to breathe. Dry lining sits out at Spennells. We would build a page for each.

Estate skim over. Plasterboard ceilings artexed later, walls in browning and finish, and patch repairs around rewires. Priced by the room, won on speed of reply.
58.1 per cent built 1945 to 1972 with 11.0 per cent pre 1919 (Valuation Office stock tables, 2025).
The same post war skim work as Franche, with a thin seam of older cottages where the walls turn out to be solid once the first plaster comes off.
31.5 per cent pre 1919 and 25.8 per cent inter war (Valuation Office stock tables, 2025).
The carpet workers' terraces. Hack off, re coat and full replaster, lath and plaster ceilings down, lime where a breathable finish is wanted, and damp related re plaster where an earlier gypsum patch has blown.
17.7 per cent pre 1919 and 37.4 per cent built since 2000 (Valuation Office stock tables, 2025). The centre holds three of the district's conservation areas, Church Street, Vicar Street and Green Street.
Flat conversions and new apartments needing dry lining and skim, next door to listed and conservation area frontages where the finish has to match what is there.
85.6 per cent built 1973 to 1999 (Valuation Office stock tables, 2025).
Dot and dab and plasterboard throughout. Over skim to lose the texture, coving, and cracking at board joints. Quick jobs at a lower price.
Wyre Forest District Council lists 17 conservation areas and four of them are in Kidderminster: Blakebrook, Church Street, Green Street and Vicar Street.
Church Street was designated in 1993 and contains twenty five listed buildings, described by the council as largely eighteenth and nineteenth century with pitched roofs, grey slates and red brick walls. Blakebrook was also designated in 1993, and the council describes its early to mid nineteenth century villas as having walls of white washed stucco or red brick. That is a render and stucco record written down by the council. Wyre Forest publishes no separate lime or breathable finish guidance.
We would explain how you check the conservation boundary, any Article 4 direction and the proposed work before confirming whether permission is needed. That answers it on the render page instead of on site.
The local field, 16 September 2026
The Google Maps pull for plasterers in Kidderminster on 16 September 2026 returned fifteen places: seven had a website and eight had none. Two of the seven are a Facebook page or a free host rather than a site of their own.
The separate map pack read on the same day went twenty deep and nine of those twenty had no website. The pull also carried Stourport and Bewdley firms reaching in. It is one dated sample of two searches. What we would do with it is give Franche, Habberley, Foley Park, the town centre and Spennells a page each, carrying the jobs you have finished in them.
Three Kidderminster firms whose websites we opened and checked. This is the bar a plastering firm here reaches once it puts money into the site.
Built on Squarespace. It carries photographs of its own jobs and reviews on the page. It has no page per area. Quotes come through a booking form, and the phone number sits in the header.
Based in Stourport and covering Kidderminster, it splits its work into named services including damp proofing, internal insulation, HMO and insurance plastering, so each type of buyer lands on a page written for them.
Built on WordPress. It carries photographs of its own jobs and reviews on the page. It has no page per area. Quotes come by phone.
The title tag names both the firm and Kidderminster, and the home page separates skim, two coat, dot and dab, partitioning and suspended ceilings into their own blocks instead of one services list.
Built on WordPress. It carries photographs of its own jobs and reviews on the page. It has no page per area. Quotes come through a form, and the phone number sits in the header.
It names the towns it serves in the opening paragraph, Kidderminster first, which is the cheapest way to tell both a customer and a search engine where the firm actually works.
Two keep the phone number in the header, all three carry reviews on the page, and none run a page per area. Each one opened and checked 16 September 2026.
"plasterers in Kidderminster"
210 searches a month (OpenSEO keyword data, September 2026)
The town page. It names Franche, Habberley, Foley Park, the town centre and Spennells, and shows a finished room in each.
"plastering Kidderminster"
210 searches a month (OpenSEO keyword data, September 2026)
The same intent in a second phrasing, on the same town page rather than a thin one of its own.
"skim over walls Kidderminster"
no recorded monthly volume (OpenSEO keyword data, September 2026)
56.6 per cent of the town is 1945 to 1999 stock. The skim over page is written for it and priced by the room.
"full replaster Kidderminster"
no recorded monthly volume (OpenSEO keyword data, September 2026)
Foley Park is 31.5 per cent pre 1919. The replaster page covers the old coat off, the backing coat and lime where the wall needs to breathe.
"dry lining Kidderminster"
no recorded monthly volume (OpenSEO keyword data, September 2026)
Spennells and Hoobrook is 85.6 per cent built 1973 to 1999. Taping, jointing and over skim get a page of their own.
"rendering Kidderminster"
no recorded monthly volume (OpenSEO keyword data, September 2026)
The tool returned a row with no volume on it. Render is a whole house price bought from street level photographs, and it earns a page with the Blakebrook stucco line on it.
Nine of the twenty listings in the local search read for "plasterers in Kidderminster" have no website of their own and one points at a Facebook page (OpenSEO local search results, read 16 September 2026).

A driveways firm in Solihull, with a page per job and a page per area. The plastering version has the same bones.
What every plastering site needs, whatever the town, is on our plasterers page.
That is the argument for one. Of the fifteen plasterers Google returned for Kidderminster on 16 September 2026, eight had no website at all and two of the rest use a Facebook page or a free host. A site with the town in the title, the districts named and a gallery of finished walls has very little in front of it.
Yes, and we would not lean on the search tool to argue it. The tool reports 210 a month for plastering Kidderminster and no volume at all for rendering Kidderminster (OpenSEO, September 2026). Render earns its page as a whole house price rather than a room price, and it converts from photographs shot from the street.
Four of Wyre Forest's seventeen conservation areas are in Kidderminster, and the council describes Blakebrook's nineteenth century villas as having walls of white washed stucco or red brick. That is a small, high value customer. One paragraph saying you match existing finishes in the town centre areas is enough to catch it.

We build your plastering site first, put it on a real address and send you the link. No deposit, no contract to read, nothing monthly at the sale.

The tool on this page is set to the driveways version so you can play with it. Yours comes with skimming, re-skimming a ceiling, full replaster, rendering and coving on the buttons, and asks for room sizes.
